About Samuel H Kim

Based out of beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, I'm a freelance Visual Effects Supervisor with a vast range of experiences in the Film and Television Industry.

Having worked in many departments before settling into Visual Effects many years ago, I have a unique understanding of the film making process from different perspectives and the contributions of the many outstanding people that make each story unique and possible.

Also, having experimented with photography from my teen years, I have a deep understanding of the photographic process and techniques that serve to augment and enrich the stories through both moving and still images. As the technology and subsequent processes change and evolve, I continue to evolve as well, to integrate and push to see how it may serve the stories we tell.
